App Store review credits removed

We no longer offer bonus WhatsApp credits for leaving a Shopify App Store review — aligned with Shopify’s review incentivization rules.

Shopify now treats offering credits or features in exchange for an App Store review as review incentivization.

We’ve turned that path off:

Gift-icon claim UI hidden
Day-1 “claim free credits” onboarding email removed
First COD confirmed mail asks for a review without any reward

You can still leave an honest review on apps.shopify.com/level anytime — nothing is unlocked or withheld either way. Admin can still grant one-off message credits for support (unrelated to reviews).

Tabbed Verification & Checkout settings

Verification and Checkout COD settings now use Rules / Risk / Network and Rules / Fee / History / OTP tabs — same pattern as the COD form builder.

Rules, Risk, and Network sit in one page with tabs — skip rules, blocklists, and the shared risk network are easier to scan without endless scrolling.

Rules, Fee, History, and OTP for checkout COD controls — page On/Off and the live preview stay put.

Same pattern as Form

Matches the COD form builder’s tab chrome so settings feel consistent across COD.

More reliable COD WhatsApp delivery

No duplicate Confirm/Cancel messages from concurrent webhooks, safer shared-number uninstall behavior, and phone-wait retries.

One verification per order

Concurrent Shopify webhooks can no longer create two COD WhatsApp sends for the same order.

Shared number stays subscribed

Uninstalling Level never unsubscribes Meta from Level’s shared WhatsApp WABA — inbound replies keep working for everyone else.

Phone arrives later? We retry

If the order lands without a phone and Shopify adds it shortly after, Level retries verification instead of silently skipping.

Auto-cancel control & smarter Free credits

Toggle COD auto-cancel, skip cancel when already fulfilled, and make Free message caps and bonus credits easier to understand.

Merchant auto-cancel toggle

Turn COD auto-cancel on or off from settings — and Level won’t cancel when Shopify already shows the order fulfilled.

Fair Free messaging

Free monthly caps no longer burn bonus credits incorrectly. Starter/Pro bonus credits can cover shared-number deliveries when granted.

Clearer upgrade moments

Limit warning and renew flows push Starter when Free is used up — with plainer billing copy for pending Shopify approvals.
